On October 2, more than seventy 1985 graduates returned to law school, holding a celebration in the lecture hall for the 30th anniversary of graduation. They recalled the past unforgettable years and the time of studying together with the teachers. Vice President Wu Ping, secretary of Law School Committee Sun Deyuan, vice dean Wu Yusheng, and Wang Hao, the director of the Administrative Office, attended the forum. Professor Yu Nengbin, professor Chen Hanguang, professor Mo Hongxian and professor Cai Jie were also invited. Yang Guang, Xia Mingquan, Guo Yujun, Zhang Shanbin, Guo Weidong and Xiang Yan came to express their congratulations.

Mr. Li Xintian shared his thought that it was more important to abide by the law than to learn it well. He said that the most real feelings were from classmates. Wu Ping hoped that all the alumni could continue to support the development of our university and wished the alumni health and happiness. Sun Deyuan thanked the alumni for their kindness to law school. Wu Yusheng expressed his admiration and praise to the alumni in his speech. Yu Nengbin, Chen Hanguang, Mo Hongxian and Cai Jie recalled the exchange and friendship between teachers and students.

Professor Xu Guangyao, who was form Nankai University, delivered a written speech on the 30th anniversary of graduation. He expressed his sincere feelings through a poem.

Shan Gensheng, recalled his study experience in Wuhan University School of Law and expressed his gratitude to his Alma Mater and law school. Representatives of grade 85 also spoke in turn. They recalled their study experience 30 years ago and expressed their gratitude to law school.

At the ceremony, the 1985 alumni of the law school donated 100,000 RMB to the badminton club of the law school. Then, the alumni walked around the campus happily and felt the great changes that had taken place in the past 30 years.

 Some of the alumni came back from the United States, Canada and Australia and some returned for the first time after graduation. They all cherished this rare opportunity to get together. The organizing committee also made full preparations. These healthy and beneficial activities strengthened the communication and contact between the alumni and the school, deepened the feelings between the alumni. All the alumni fully felt the warmth of the Alma Mater and the sincere friendship between their classmates.
